Time Flies

I just can't believe that it has been 1 whole year!  My little boy is all grown up and i know the next few years will go by even faster!  It makes me a little heart sick..... a bittersweet joy.  You want them to grow and be strong and gain independence, but then before you know it the precious moments are gone, and a new phase of their life emerges.  I want to continue to savor all the moments, even as they change with every year.
Little boy blue, sure did love his buttercream icing covered pancake for breakfast!  We weren't sure if he'd go for it, but yum yum yum he ate it all up!

Tried to eat the candle too!
Drunk with sugar & butter!
Our best present ever! our Christmas baby!! Merry Christmas to all!

almost #1 (always Number 1 almost a year old)

We are still having issues with the camera, so here is a "dark" video of Lex playing this morning. (I know y'all needed a Lex fix, even if you can barley see it)
He has so much fun just talking and walking and playing with his toys.  He just discovered this truck & it's one of the favourites!  It makes noises and he just loves pushing the button and watching the flashing lights.  Yesterday he was quite the "Curious George".  From throwing his toys in the trash, to climbing in the kitchen drawer, to climbing up on to the dinning room chair and getting stuck, he was very busy.

Today he had a play date with a new friend Sheehan.  They are 3 months apart, and were both very interested in each other.  It was great for both of us to have friends to talk to.

I've been busy getting the house ready for Christmas & Mr. Lex's birthday party on Saturday. He is having friends and family over for cake and ice cream.  We are so excited to celebrate his first whole year.  It is truly amazing what can take place in one year.  We have come so far, each of us learning so much about the other, and now I can't imagine life with out him.  Praise be to God! for such a special gift.  Merry Christmas!
